The Purple Backed Fairywren

The beautiful purple backed fairywren, Im always blown away by how striking the colors are of this bird, and for it to sit on such a beautiful perch with the purple flowers in the background, i was very fortunate to say the least.

There was another male floating around and was hoping they may want to pose together, but alas, that will have to wait for another day......
